More than 800 physicians, 450 advanced practice providers, and 2,600 clinical and support staff in over 40 specialties, provide patients with a broad range of medical and surgical services.

**The role you’ll contribute:**
Collaborates with administrators, providers, and clinical team members to design, educate and train processes that improve quality of care across AHMG care provides.
Provides collaborative leadership through committees to ensure alignment of strategic objectives and training outcomes for AHMG-S
Works in a matrixed relationship with the Institutes, ACS and AHMG regarding cross-continuum goals and training outcomes to ensure seamless care for AdventHealth consumers.
Direct managerial oversight for accountable departments in strategic planning, assessment, program implementation, and training to improve operational processes, healthcare outcomes and financial performance.
Provides leadership oversight for the AHMG -S Epic training team.Works with Quality leaders to update orientation and ongoing EPIC training to maximize efficiency and quality outcomes.
Provides leadership oversight for academic affiliation agreements, student eligibility and rotations schedules for clinical staff.
Provides executive oversight for Float Pool staff hiring training and scheduling staff to a provider’s office
Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, including audit processes and operating procedures outlined by regulatory agencies to ensure uninterrupted reimbursement.
**The value you’ll bring to the team:** The Director of Education and Training partners with and provides clinical leadership, coaching, mentoring and direction to the clinical education team in AHMG-South. The Director provides collaborative leadership with AHMG, AH Acute Care Services, Outpatient Services, AH Corporate and PHD as it relates to aligning education and clinical process across AdventHealth.
Responsible for administrative oversight of Education and Training- development and implementation - as it relates to the staff and providers at AHMG – South. This person leads teams across the organization in creating and operationalizing highly effective processes that reduce variation in patient care, promote safe, high-quality care and assures initiatives and activities meet the rules and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies and accrediting bodies.
**Qualifications**
**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:**
**Minimum qualifications** :
Current valid State of Florida or multi state license as a Registered Nurse
Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) **OR**
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) and six (6) years in clinical education
Knowledge and skill in adult learning methods
Knowledge of clinical practices and processes, legal and regulatory requirement mandates, and demonstrates the ability to gather and evaluate data and outcome results to use in strategic planning for educational priorities.
Knowledge of budget planning and operational oversight of department expenses.
