Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence
Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RN’s, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC
Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate
Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program
Free prep courses for national certifications

The role you’ll contribute:
The Chaplain is a full time member of the health care team who provides for the pastoral needs of patients, families, and staff. Through professional training in the areas of theology, spirituality, worship, and counseling , assists patients to understand more fully lifes events as they relate to their spiritual and emotional well-being.

· Complies with the Employee Code of Conduct
· Assures department compliance with all federal, state and local laws; rules and government regulations
· Monitors conduct and activities within the department to assure compliance
· Provides for inservice training on a regular basis for employees
· Reports immediately to a Compliance Officer any actual or perceived violation
· Educates staff as to the affirmative duty to report incidents, the necessity of such reporting and the mechanisms of incident reporting
· Within the context of the affirmative duty to report incidents, assures that incident reports have been filed with regard to incidents he/she may become aware of through chart review or other involvement.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Masters Degree in Theology or Masters of Divinity preferred. However, will consider Clergy with minimum of 5 years of ordained Pastoral/Counseling Care with required ecclesiastical endorsement/recommendations and a completed Bachelors degree. Doctor of Ministry beneficial in combination with further study in Psychology or Pastoral Counseling
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Minimum of one year demonstrated ability to work as a team member in an ecumenical setting
Preferred three or four CPE units--two units being advanced.
