In Labor & Delivery (L&D) at Adventist Health White Memorial, we use highly sophisticated equipment and skill to deliver the highest degree of care needed for our patients. We are very committed to combining technology and compassion to deliver more than 4,000 babies a year with excellent medical care.
This Labor & Delivery Transition Program consists of 12-14 weeks of training. We are seeking RNs who have at least 1 year of acute care RN experience and are ready to take on a new step in their career by pursuing a specialty, L&D!

We're looking for someone to join our team as a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse who:
- Delivers coordinated nursing care for their assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
- Develops a plan that prescribes interventions to attain outcomes. Implements the plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.
- Collaborates with the team of patient, family, and healthcare providers in providing patient care in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment.
- Participates in discharge planning in order to provide continuity of care.
- Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.

You'll be successful with the following qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (BSN): Preferred
Work Experience:
- Acute care facility experience: Preferred
Required Licenses/Certifications:
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
- American Heart Association ACLS and NRP certifications: Required
