Job Summary:
Provides advanced-level application support to employees. Maintains personal computers and related hardware. Assists Network Engineers with installation of software and hardware.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
- Associate’s/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
- Two years' technical experience: Preferred
Licenses/Certifications:
- Dell certification: Preferred
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) - Infrastructure and Desktop: Preferred
- CompTIA Certifications: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Performs advanced-level computer system maintenance, repairs, and installations. Monitors and controls computer equipment by operating the central console or an online monitor. Monitors hardware systems using operating systems utilities.
- Actively identifies problems in the department, reports them to the supervisor, pursues feedback, and actively participates in resolution methods. Analyzes existing methods and develop alternatives to increase operations and production efficiency.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
