TODDLER TEACHER
AdviniaCare early Education Center is looking for skilled and highly motivated Infant Teachers to join the talented staff at its Northbridge facility in Northbridge, MA.
Full-time position available, 7:30 – 3:30 full time DEEC Certified for Infant/Toddler
Part-time position available, 2:30 – 5:30 part time DEEC certified preferred

JOB DESCRIPTION:
A professional childcare teacher who can supervise, educate, nurture, and inspire toddlers as well as children every day. Their main responsibilities are to look after the children, help them to learn and socialize, supervise their play and activities, and create a safe environment for all toddlers and children to develop and reach age-appropriate milestones.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide a safe and loving environment for the toddlers in his/her care
- Feeding and grooming children.
- Introducing children to new, age-appropriate hobbies.
- Organizing activities.
- Sanitizing all toys and play areas.
- You should also be able to identify and address behavioral problems.
- Plan, prepare, and implement a variety of preschool or infant/toddler learning activities for children.
- Ability to handle the demands of toddlers with different personalities and needs.
- Feed infants' solid foods as age appropriate and provided by parents
- Change diapers as needed.
- Soothe toddlers by singing to and cuddling them.
- Supervise toddlers on the floor as they play with age-appropriate toys.
- Put toddlers in for nap time.
- Ensure play, sleep and changing areas are kept clean.
- Notify parents if need be.
SKILLS
- Great customer service skills to communicate effectively with parents
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement in the care and play with each infant assigned to you.
- Must be dependable.
- Gentle and nurturing personality.
- Patience to assist each infant or child to mature cognitively.
- High energy.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Completion of the Early Childhood courses as designed by the state Child Care Authority.
- EEC certified for toddlers.
- Meet annual professional development requirements, per state regulations
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Caring individual who enjoys teaching young children.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
- Extended periods of time sitting on the floor.
- Ability to work a shift in between 6:00 am _ 6:00 pm that changes weekly.
- Reliable transportation to the Child Care center.
- Completion of First Aid and CPR is required.
Salary : $35,000 - $44,300
