Email Marketing Coordinator
Location: Phoenix preferred, all locations and remote considered
Type: Full-time
Summary:
We have an opportunity for an Email Marketing Coordinator to support our database contacts and serve as a center of excellence for email marketing. This role will be responsible for the creation and distribution of email to our entire database of financial professionals. The right candidate for this role will have a solid understanding of email creation, list management, and campaign building. In this role, the Email Marketing Coordinator will own distribution of all email communications, taking an email from concept to design, all the way through to sending.
The email content is authored and submitted by various teams across the organization. We want someone who can look at this content and make suggestions on the best ways to produce and deliver to our financial professionals. The ideal candidate can work well in a collaborative environment where work comes from multiple teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and build email campaigns, including designing templates, calls-to-action, and content layout, using marketing automation software
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and changes in marketing automation
- Build and segment lists based on business demographics and subscriptions
- Maintain the health and integrity of our database
- Monitor and report on the success of campaigns, and make recommendations for how to improve future campaigns based on this data
- Collaborate with marketing departments across the organization
- All other duties as assigned
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, high school diploma (or equivalent) in combination with significant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Basic Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with email marketing and/or marketing automation technology (Oracle Eloqua, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, etc.), and/or web analytics.
- Analytical thinking and ability to derive meaning from data and make subsequent recommendations
- Ability to work independently and make recommendations without being asked
- Effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment to meet defined deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
- Financial services experience is a plus
- Experience working in HTML and multi-faceted campaigns (activity-based triggers and A/B testing)
