Sales Support Specialist, Annuities, Highland Capital Brokerage
Location : ALL LOCATIONS & REMOTE
Summary :
We have an opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist within Highland Capital Brokerage, a member of Advisor Group. The Sales Support Specialist will work alongside the Regional Vice Presidents in assisting financial advisors and independent agents with annuity business.
The role will be responsible for helping increase overall annuity sales as well as working within the Ladenburg Product and Income Consulting (LPIC) team to create synergy within Highland Capital Brokerage.
The Sales Support Specialist must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and is able to adapt with change. This position could evolve into a full-time Regional Vice President or Product Consultant in the future.
Responsibilities :
- Work with the annuity sales team by running annuity illustrations and case design in a timely manner (40%)
- Assist advisors and sales team with carrier and product information, current rates / caps, fulfilling supply requests (20%)
- Respond in a timely manner meeting company service levels) for all service and solicitation requests (20%)
- Answer overflow calls from the phone queue (5%)
- Assist with email campaigns and webinars by following up on engaged prospects and writing advisors (5%)
- Assist sales team by prospecting, setting appointments and follow up meetings (10%)
- All other duties as assigned
Education and License Requirements :
- Bachelors degree preferred, H.S. Diploma or GED certificate Significant Practical experience will be considered
- Securities registered
Basic Requirements :
- 3 to 5 years previous work experience
- 1 to 3 years of Financial Services Industry experience
- Excellent written and oral communications
- Excellent customer service motivation and abilities
- Self-Motivated, possesses good problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and work requests to completion
- Candidate must demonstrate strong willingness to learn
- Ability to execute tasks in a timely manner
- Requires Intermediate knowledge of financial services industry trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters;
ability to provide specific financial knowledge and experience to help organizational development
- Intermediate knowledge of and ability to utilize processes, tools, and techniques for detecting, addressing, and preventing fraudulent situations

- Microsoft Office proficiency : ability to use the cross-functional features of its applications to enhance overall organizational efficiency
Preferred Requirements :
- Series 6
- MS Dynamics CRM proficiency
