Advocare Sussex County Pediatrics is a very well-established family oriented pediatric practice with an office in Newton, NJ. We are seeking a full-time or part-time pediatrician to join us in gorgeous Sussex County, NJ!
Advocare is a physician-owned and physician governed multi-specialty medical group operating in New Jersey and the greater Philadelphia metropolitan region. Advocare has grown to become widely recognized and highly respected as one of the region’s largest, independent, multi-specialty physician groups. With six hundred providers and two hundred locations, Advocare serves approximately 590,000 patients at locations throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
This position is 100% outpatient, seeing an average of 20-30 patients daily. No C/S or delivery attendance, newborn rounding or admitting. There are typically two providers on a schedule and two nurses/clinical staff to assist.

Skills:
- Proven experience as a pediatrician with a big heart
- In depth knowledge of children epidemiology and infectious diseases
- Exquisite knowledge of diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation principles and techniques
- Up to speed knowledge of drugs/medication appropriate for children and their side-effects
- Familiarity with traditional and web-based prescription systems
- Active listener, patient, calm with a warm demeanor No brusque attitudes need apply
- Outstanding diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communications skills
- Medical Degree with specialization in pediatrics
- Valid license to practice medicine in NJ
- HEDIS and EPSDT

Schedule:
- The Full-time schedule is Monday to Friday, 9 – 5 and every third Saturday, 9 – 2
- On-call is phone-based and limited to the practice patients only and is shared by all other providers
