Global Content Team Lead
Adyen’s Global Marketing team is located in our Amsterdam HQ. It consists of multiple disciplines working together to enable local marketing teams around the world with the resources, strategic frameworks, and subject matter expertise they need to be successful at driving demand generation and retention programs. Our in-house creative studio is responsible for bringing these programs to life. The studio consists of talented writers, designers, illustrators and motion graphics artists who produce a variety of work from events to online videos, case studies, blogs, and more. We’re looking for an experienced content writer / copywriter with brand and marketing experience to lead the content arm of our studio.
What you'll do
- Translate complex product and commercial propositions into easy to understand, memorable experiences that drive action with our business target audiences. This includes but is not limited to Guides, Case Studies, Web & Digital, Videos, Events (internal & external), and Social Content.
- Inspire and mentor the content team, working to review, edit, and conceptualise work that is on-brand and aligned to our commercial goals.
- Be the guardian of the Adyen tone of voice and brand guidelines and be responsible for evolving these in accordance with business needs.
- Plan and coordinate the production of projects from brief to launch alongside our design team lead and brand program managers.
- Collaborate closely with our local markets to understand their content requirements, turning these into actionable plans and creative activations.
- Work with agency partners and freelancers to deliver a consistently high standard of creative work.
- This role is based in Amsterdam. Some domestic and international travel is required.
Who you are
- You embody the Adyen Formula, love to collaborate, and believe winning is more important than ego.
- You have experience managing creative teams and commercial stakeholders.
- Have a passion for investigating and solving customer problems (both our B2B target audience as well as our internal ‘clients’)
- Ability to grasp complex, technical subjects and distill them into meaningful stories, collateral, and messaging.
- A brand thinker, you understand strategy, brand positioning, and how to create effective and persuasive creative that is aligned to commercial goals.
- Detail oriented and able to thrive in a high-paced, dynamic environment.
- Able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
- You have full professional proficiency (written and verbal) in English
