Program Manager - Compliance Drivers
As we evolve at Adyen from a Product development standpoint, we must rediscover how we work internally. Adyen, specifically the P&FS Solution, has been scaling up significantly over the last few years. The need for our Products is growing, and this brings challenges. Our newly created Group, Program Enablement, is responsible for helping to make the P&FS Solution work more efficiently together and also to work more efficiently together with other Solutions and Functions at Adyen.
Product Enablement aims to identify, drive, and elevate initiatives that will become a part of our ‘steady state’ for our core solution. So far, this has led to four different focus areas:
- Program Management: responsible for driving cross-functional, cross-solution, and solution-wide ways of working initiatives.
- Product Success: responsible for orchestrating the organization’s multiple feedback channels and coordinating product functionality.
- Product Delivery: Responsible for aggregating relevant product information and evangelizing Product Updates to educate our internal customers and inform our external customers.
- Internal Product Management tools: responsible for internal tools used by the P&FS Solution, such as YouTrack and The Service Catalog.
The Program Manager will initially focus on the Compliance Drivers Program. This program aims at structuring an efficient way of working to incorporate the latest regulatory requirements into our product functionality. The Program Manager will be overseeing the alignment between our Onboarding and Compliance Product, our Operational department, and our Compliance and Regulatory function to:
- Prioritize which regulatory requirements should be picked up by Product.
- Defining ownership within the Onboarding and Compliance Product area.
- Drive progress to meet deadlines.
- Prepare and run cross-functional meetings to manage stakeholders.
The Program Manager will also ongoingly work together with all four Program areas but specifically focus on three topics:
- Program Management: to help drive complex cross-functional initiatives as defined by P&FS Leadership, such as the Compliance Drivers Program .
- Program Scalability: to help scale current and new initiatives to ensure they are fully embedded into the P&FS working methods.
- Product Success adoption: helps drive the adoption, education, and communication of complex product functionality, effective usability of internal tools, and the feedback loop.
What you’ll do:
- Drive the Compliance Drivers Program as an initial main priority.
- Drive complex Product requirements together with Group/Senior Product Managers.
- Assist Product Success and Product Delivery to scale their efforts.
- Creatively seek to expand the program’s scope by identifying gaps within our existing organizational structure.
- Responsible for creating new communication materials that can assist internal and external customers in complex use case conversations with customers.
- Independently stand up and execute cross-functional programs to achieve strategic P&FS objectives.
Who you are:
- You have experience managing large distributed platforms and dealing with complex product functionality.
- You have experience in stakeholder management.
- You have experience with driving complex initiatives and influencing people without power.
- You have a tireless curiosity to bring efficiency to your work and seek out superior customer experiences with product features.
- You’re a strong communicator who engages positively at all levels and can apply this via appropriate communication methods and styles, depending on the topic and audience.
- You understand how to delve into details and can translate these details to different audiences.
- You understand the Payment Platform ecosystem and have experience working with Payments Platforms.
- You have experience dealing with enterprise software and what it means to release new functionality while balancing out customer satisfaction aggressively.
- You’re technical enough to understand how to make API requests and responses and set up webhooks.
- You can create visual and written artifacts (documents, diagrams, presentations, etc.) targeted to functional teams like Implementation Managers, Account Managers, Sales, and Project Managers.
