AECOM is seeking a Civil Engineer II with experience in water/wastewater.. The position will be based in our Columbia, SC office and offers a hybrid work model.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Provides technical design for a variety of water/wastewater design related projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, water line design, sanitary sewer collection system design and rehabilitation, master planning, and construction administration
Supports project managers in execution of all types of water/wastewater related design projects
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
Prepares technical specifications
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $95,000.00.

**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
BA/BS 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
Registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT)
Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain organization in a changing environment
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility
Resourceful, highly organized professional with attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Effective time-management and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive
Proficient with GIS, CAD, and design software (ArcGIS, Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley Design Suites, Revit, etc.)
Ability and desire to occasionally travel to project sites, both local and remote.
Hydraulic modeling experience
