Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a creative, highly motivated Civil Specialist III for immediate employment for our South Carolina Water business.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Performing engineering activities to support planning, designing, and construction of water and wastewater plants and conveyance systems.
Performing engineering activities to also support storm water management planning, designing, and construction.
Provides permitting and grant management support.
Supports project managers as necessary during interdisciplinary reviews and project deliverables, cost estimates, budgeting, and scheduling.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Engineering and/or Sciences
4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience with CAD, Autodesk Civil3D.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.

Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills.
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and flexibility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Strong desire to learn along with professional drive.
Proficient with GIS, CAD, and design software (ArcGIS, Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley Design Suites, Revit, etc.)
Ability and desire to occasionally travel to project sites, both local and remote.

Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $75,000.00 - $100,000.00
