AECOM is seeking a highly talented Communications Manager to support the Communications team. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of office and remote schedule. This postion can be based in New York City or in Clifton, NJ.
Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively build and execute communication plans that support regional and global key priorities
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and colleagues
- Craft executive communications including written communications, video production and Yammer posts
- Ensures corporate objectives are communicated accurately and effectively.
- Manage programs and channels to drive impactful communications and to ensure messages reach target audiences.
- Develops and coordinates strategies and standards for publications and internet/intranet.
- Supports efforts to ensure messages reach target audiences.
- Measures and analyzes the impact of campaign activities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's in communications, English, marketing, journalism or a related discipline 8 years of professional, corporate communications-related experience, preferably in a global, multi-site company or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Outstanding written and oral communications skills, including copyediting and familiarity with AP style.
- Ability to synthesize complex materials and to craft creative, persuasive language and compelling messaging for a variety of audiences.
- Superior knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools, and vehicles.
- Experience building and maintaining strong internal relationships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work effectively on a variety of projects concurrently in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness of all work.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Sharepoint, Creative Suite and Poppulo knowledge is preferred.
- French fluency to support Quebec, Canada communications

- Offered rate of compensation (New York City only) will be based on individual education, qualification, experience and work location. The salary range for the position is $100K - $125K USD annually.
