AECOM is seeking a Conservation Scientist to be based in San Antonio, TX.
Key Role:
Support a US Army client as a member of a protection program higher headquarters assessment team. Visit installations worldwide, assess protection program compliance and risk, identify deficiencies and best practices, recommend corrective actions, and track corrective action completion regarding conservation practices and requirements. Prepare assessment outbrief materials and final report inputs. Comprehend and apply DoD and Service Component infrastructure and engineering rules, regulations, and activities. Develop, analyze, and evaluate existing or proposed mission assurance and supporting infrastructure plans or procedures and collaborate with team members, government employees, and installation protection staff.

Minimum Requirements
BA or BS Degree 6 years of experience providing conservation consultation in a military, local, state, or federal organization or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Due to the nature of this work, US citizen is required
Must pass a State and Federal criminal history/security background check; many projects/clients are security sensitive
Must pass pre-employment drug screen
Must possess a Top Secret or Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience briefing Leadership/management
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel to various site locations
A valid US Driver’s License and a clean driving record in the last 3 years, including no suspension of license or single violation that the department of motor vehicle treats as worth 6 demerits
Ability to lift less than 25 pounds
