Job Description
AECOM is seeking an Environmental Planner to be based in Greenvill, Charleston, and Columbia, SC
Will lead a team to develop NEPA documents including managing scope, budget, and quality control
Will coordinate staffing and resources to deliver projects in accordance with schedules.
Will be responsible for technical quality of work products.
Has the opportunity to grow and expand a team.
performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specifications and plan preparation
Perform other duties as assigned
Assists in marketing responsibilities
Maintains client contacts to ensure client satisfaction
Ability to recruit, hire, development, and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff
As an individual consultant, is a recognized leader and authority in a broad area of specialization or in a narrow but intensely specialized field.
As a staff specialist, serves as a technical specialist for inside and outside individual's office.
Is consulted extensively by associates and others with a high degree of reliance placed on individual's technical interpretations and advice.
Reports events and activities to senior management and elected and appointed officials.
Represents the organization on regional/local boards.
Implements General Plan or other planning projects.
Evaluates planning-related legislation and applicability to department projects.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS 10 years of related transportation experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must hold be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Preferred Qualifications
Experienced in recruiting, hiring, development, and retention of staff, including development of plan for staff
Must have Transit infrastructure Experience.
