This will be supporting our team working on site assessment and remediation projects for one of our top clients. The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Performs routine fieldwork as a trainee (such as environmental sampling, assisting with calculations, and operations, maintenance and inspection of equipment of client site), working under close supervision. Performs routine tasks in support of project staff and handles less complex duties. Entry-level position; may not require previous experience. Performs a variety of tasks in support of project staff. May gather and maintain specified records of scientific data for supervisor, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections at client sites. Other activities may include assisting with calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining proper project documentation. Collects and enters data, and applies technical principles and theories under supervision. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements:** High School Diploma or equivalent Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Requires enrollment in the medical monitoring program requiring initial and annual physicals. Occasionally lifting of 40lbs unassisted Must participate in and successfully complete a post-offer pre-employment fitness for duty questionnaire Candidate must be able to meet the medical clearance requirements of an OSHA (HAZWOPER) medical surveillance physical examination. Physically able, with or without accommodation, to work in outdoor environments with uneven terrain, variable outdoor conditions including heat, noise, and/or chemicals. Ability to travel to various client site locations to conduct fieldwork, including but not limited to environmental sampling, operations and maintenance and inspections. **Preferred Qualifications:** Selected candidate will have completed 40 hour HAZWOPER training or annual refresher class. Proficient and knowledgeable with all types of groundwater sampling and gauging techniques (low flow purge, no purge, conventional). Proficient and knowledgeable with all types of groundwater and LNAPL treatment systems (pump and treat, soil vapor extraction, LNAPL skimming, dual phase extraction, etc.) Excellent work ethic and team-player attitude. Current 40-hour HAZWOPER certification. Experience with Oil and Gas clients and working on active petroleum facilities. Experience with pneumatic and electric submersible pumps, electric control panels, and water conveyance piping. Experience with environmental sampling (soil, soil vapor, groundwater). Excellent mechanical background and aptitude. Strong attention to detail, with proven ability to follow specific instructions. An ability to effectively express themselves orally and in writing to other project staff. Basic computer skills. **Additional Information** \#LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
