Job Description
AECOM is seeking an experienced Geology Manager to support soil and groundwater investigations and remediation projects in the Raleigh, North Carolina office. Candidate will provide project or program level management of multiple complex environmental sites managed under State (NCDEQ) or Federal (EPA) regulatory programs.
The selected candidate will scope and direct complex site investigations, remediation programs, and related work. The candidate will also provide office support for data management, report preparation, staff management, and maintain the required AECOM-related documentation and forms.

The position responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Perform data analysis, modeling, visualizations and interpretations to support complex remediation projects
Manage workflows and data in geodatabase, environmental database, and numeric computing environments
Prepare technical plans and deliverables for projects implemented under CERCLA, RCRA and other remediation programs
Project roles will vary including technical support and leading tasks
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
Must be able to obtain and maintain medical clearance for driving and wearing a respirator
Travel will be required based on business needs
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
BS or MS Geology, Environmental Science, or Engineering
10 years of experience in soil and groundwater sampling, monitoring well drilling, vapor intrusion evaluation, and construction management.
EPA, NCDEQ, VDEQ, SCDHEC, and/or other regulatory program experience
Ability to maintain project continuity, progress, and project profitability
Ability to work in office and non-office setting (i.e., outdoors, undeveloped/wooded areas, year-round, overnight travel necessary).
PG, PE, or license-track
Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel, ArcGIS
Aquifer field testing/evaluation experience
Experience with VOCs, metals, and petroleum contamination
OSHA 40 training with current 8hr. OSHA Supervisors training.
