Job Description
AECOM is looking for a Paralegal to support the legal team. This position offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of in-office and remote scheduling and can be based from a variety of different AECOM office locations, with preference being along the US East Coast.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting attorneys on complex or high-profile legal activities.
- Preparing reports and spreadsheets for legal meeting.
- Maintaining claim database.
- Assist with corporate and professional licensing filings.
- Assist with responding to clients responsibility questionnaires.
- Independently prepares routine legal documents and reports under limited attorney supervision.
- Leads researchers on legal issues and administering law department activities.
- Provides guidance to less experienced Paralegals.
- Updating company's form agreement.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS prior paralegal experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of Paralegal experience a plus.
- Prior experience in AEC industry a plus.
- Paralegal degree a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Experience building and maintaining strong internal relationships.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy, completeness, and thoroughness.
- Being a team player and willing to tackle new challenges.
