Construction Administrator

The Construction Administrator’s (CA) role is to support construction activities in the field by performing vital back-office support and activities. Construction Administrators are responsible for coordinating with the Construction Manager to scope schedules and budgets prior to physical construction. Additionally, they are responsible for maintaining and presenting all aspects of project performance on a regular basis to the Construction Manager and the clients. Using their construction knowledge, the CA’s role is to research and propose solutions to field construction challenges.

• Read, understand construction plans
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, architects, and municipality officials
• Develop an executable construction schedule that ensures timeliness of project delivery
• Evaluate contractors’ capabilities to perform construction requirements and negotiate pricing
• Organize effectively all documentation related to the project.
• Communicate all details daily with construction managers.
• Present effectively to leaders, project managers and clients.
• Support and develop contracts in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures
• Coordinate with and maintain contractors invoicing, lien waivers, and another chain of liability documentation

The expected pay range for this position is between 50k-60k annually. Final salary will be determined based on skill level and experience.
