Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure the team's success.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the engineering team.
- Manufacturing Process Optimization:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing processes, improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
- Utilize TPM methodologies to drive equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and maximize overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- GMP Compliance:
- Ensure all manufacturing engineering activities adhere to GMP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and maintain procedures and protocols to uphold quality standards and compliance in manufacturing operations.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvement initiatives, drive cost reduction efforts, and enhance operational performance.
- Project Management:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects within established timelines and budgets.
- Manage project scope, resources, and deliverables to achieve project objectives effectively.
- Supplier and Vendor Management:
- Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to evaluate and select vendors, suppliers, and contractors for engineering-related activities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with external partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering roles, with a focus on process optimization and improvement.
- Proven experience implementing TPM methodologies and driving equipment reliability initiatives.
- In-depth knowledge of GMP standards and regulatory requirements for manufacturing operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve goals.
- Excellent project management abilities, with a track record of successfully leading engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.
