What We Would Like You to Do
AER Technologies, Inc. is seeking motivated and energetic individuals to join our success-driven Production team. As an Electronic Technician, you will be responsible to conduct a variety of electronic, mechanical and electromechanical tests and perform detailed troubleshooting root cause analysis on instrument cluster repairs to ensure the product functions per company and manufacturer specifications. Specifically, in this role you will:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electronic circuitries down to the component level on vehicle speedometers.
- Perform mechanical and electronic assembly of products including hand soldering on circuit board assemblies using written instructions, schematic specifications, and industry standards.
What You Bring to the Table
- Associates Degree and or equivalent technical/military experience.
- Have a minimum of two years’ experience in the diagnosis, troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuitry
- Be able to work with team members and follow guidelines
- Ability to work on fine-pitch components where tight precision soldering is required.
- Be knowledgeable about common electronic and electro-mechanical components and be able to assist in the selection and procurement of parts and materials.
- Ability to read and work from electronic schematics.
- Able to use a DVM, Oscilloscope, and other technical equipment.
- Certifications in J-Standard 001/ IPC-A-610 (Preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel.
- Understanding of ESD practices.

Compensation
- $22 to $24 per hour DOE
Interview Process
- All initial interviews will be conducted via Zoom or Microsoft Teams video conferencing.
- Interviews can lead to multiple meetings including panel discussions.
- All offers of employment are contingent upon the passing of a background check as well as a drug & alcohol testing.
