Job Description

Our company is looking for a full-time Claims Administrator to manage projects from start to finish and ensure that they are completed as per contract requirements. Claims Administrator will be responsible for coding, timely billing, posting payments, appeals, and statements. A successful candidate will perform the job with integrity, be self-motivated, organized, analytical, diligent, and focused. This position will be held in the office.

Responsibilities

  • Coding and billing
  • Maintain and update account task lists
  • Applying and processing payments from both insurance companies and patients
  • Ability to write appeals to insurance companies
  • Communicate with both supervisors and colleagues to ensure efficiency and effectiveness

Required Skills

  • Must type 40 wpm and 10 key
  • Must be able to use computers and related technology efficiently
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • Billing/bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain workflow
  • Multitasking
  • Willing to work with all levels of internal management and utilize internal resources
  • Organized
  • Problem solving skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
