AeroCare Holdings, Inc is a respiratory medical equipment company seeking an energetic, hard working, organized individual for a full time PAP Technician position.

Job Duties:
· Be knowledgeable of and responsible for the current AeroCare policies and procedures that apply to the clinical position.
· Must have PAP knowledge appropriate for the position and follow current AeroCare policies and procedures that apply to the clinician position.
· Communicate effectively with other staff members, referral sources and patients.
· Report patient status and request changes or updates as necessary to Respiratory Therapist.
· Implement and maintain all patient records required for clinical patients.
· Assure timely, thorough and appropriate set up of new patients to include but not limited to approval of setup prior to set up, appropriate equipment selection, assurance of payment source to include collection of copays and deductibles at time of setup.
· Assure paperwork goes to billing department in a timely manner.
· Help answer questions for other staff members, patients and referral sources.
· Develop and maintain working knowledge of home equipment, insurance guidelines, eligibility and reimbursement for patients.
· Set up, discontinue and clean patient equipment as needed.
· Teach patients about their disease, their equipment, safety and daily activities.
· Comply with all federal, state and local regulations.
· Assist AeroCare in meeting its growth and financial goals.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Strong command of the English language. Legible handwriting. Good personal hygiene and appearance. Must possess current driver’s license appropriate for job duties. Must be able to work independently. Must be kind and empathetic with patients. Must be able to organize duties and follow up. Must be detail-oriented and be able to respond appropriately to disruptions in routine. Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to handle stressful situations for short periods of time.
