We have an immediate need for a motivated individual for our SOX & Process Excellence PMO within our Sacramento, CA office. You will be part of our finance team with high visibility to the Company's Senior Financial Leadership. This position reports to the Manager of SOX & Process Excellence PMO. This position is on our 9/80 work week schedule and will be eligible for flexwork/remote work as business needs permit. Estimated travel is less than 10%, with potential increase based on Company activity.

Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each)
This position is expected to work under general to limited supervision performing the following tasks:
30% - SOX Compliance: Support the Company’s compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) and Government Contracting/Compliance framework, including; performing financial statement risk assessments; performing work over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of the SOX control environment; assessing the impact of any identified control deficiencies; and supporting management in the development and monitoring of corrective action plans to remediate any identified control deficiencies.
30% - Process Excellence: Work with business partners to identify opportunities to optimize financial processes, improve overall control environment, and reduce cost. Support projects to develop and implement identified opportunities including driving engagement with information technology teams.
30% - Revenue and AR Audit PMO: Administer the CAF and/or PBC Tracker Tools. Work with various management and process owners to troubleshoot revenue 606 impact. Understand open items and ensure timely receipt and delivery of tasks/requests. Generate and deliver metrics timely, perform root cause analysis on late/past-due items, and collaborate with management to implement corrective actions as needed.
10% - Support the development of the Company's Accounting Policies and Procedures.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least three (3) years of progressive financial, audit, and operational experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- CPA preferred. CIA and/or CISA a plus.
- Large accounting firm (including SOX) experience desired.
- Knowledge of Information Technology and ERP environments a plus.
- Finance process optimization experience a plus.
May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level. Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency or other status as a U.S. Person. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.
