GPI Material Analyst

Job Title: Material Analyst                                                                   Department: Planning

Reports to:  Global Supply Chain Manager                                         FLSA (Exempt / Non Exempt): Exempt

Job Summary: This is an ERP analyst position to support Production Scheduling and Supply Chain. This position will utilize knowledge of the ERP system to analyze the flow of production and appropriate inventory levels for a pull inventory system. This position will also assist with developing various KPI dashboards, trend charts and ad hoc reports as needed. 

Job Details:

• Maintains critical processes to establish reorder points for finished goods, raw materials, as well as kanban sizing for in-house component part and subassembly manufacturing.
• Develops and deploys ramp (start) up plans for existing and new products.
• Develops and deploys ramp down (phase out) plans.
• Publishes and analyzes inventory trending charts (Bookings, Sales, Production Outputs and Daily Levels).
• Supports to standards for ERP structure and supports data integrity.
• Assists with monthly Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) meeting.
• Coordinate with Engineering Change Management to identify affected items and understand the impact.

Job Qualifications:

Required

• 3 years’ experience working with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with inventory Kanban systems
• Highly proficient with Excel
• Clear understanding of LEAN principles
• Must have a High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Proven ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated personal motivation with a focus to complete assigned goals.

Preferred

• Experience utilizing Infor Syteline (CSI, Cloud Suite Industrial)
• Experience using Microsoft Power BI
• Deep understanding of LEAN principles

Job Requirements:

Physical: Sitting for extended periods of time.

Tools / Equipment: Normal office equipment, computer, keyboard, etc.

Working Conditions: Normal office environment, will require working on a computer.
