What are the responsibilities and job description for the AEROSPACE DEBURR position at Aerotek?
Description:
Manual deburring utilizing hand tools for a company that builds latches and lock systems for Aerospace commercial and defense.
- Will have the ability to use deburr tools to remove excess material from parts without causing damage to part
- Utilizing a Wilton Sanding Belt equipment
- Blending of metals including steel, aluminum, magnesium and titanium
- Deburr parts
- Selects type of finish specified per work instruction, to determine amount of metal to be removed and examines part for acceptability of finish
- Inspects and replaces worn belts and grinding wheels
- Follow direction of leadership and respect all teammates
- Ensures that the workstation is kept in a clean and safe condition.
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST have 6 months experience for deburr and equipment operation, buffing, and sanding with hand tool experience (with metal, aluminum, titanium, or preferrably aerospace industry)
MUST have basic English for safety training
