What are the responsibilities and job description for the Concrete Laborer position at Aerotek?
Description:
- We are looking for potential concrete laborers
- This person should have the ability to work well with others. take direction and adapt to changes.
- Two years experience on concrete crew and will take experienced laborers looking to make the move to finisher.
- Concrete finishers Rake, level, tamp and screed or finish Concrete within time required and to the required levels.
- Preferred if candidates know how to run a float to finish concrete along with cutting joints.
- Client prefers that they have experience and can work from Day 1.
Pay: $18-$22/hr
Shift: 6:00am - 4:00pm
Location: Lancaster, NY
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Cement and Concrete Finishers smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete, such as floors, walks, sidewalks, loading docks, roads, or curbs using a variety of hand and power tools.
- Align forms for sidewalks, curbs, or gutters; patch voids; and use saws to cut expansion.
- Experience pulling Screed
- Ability to run a float
- Ability to cut joints
- Experience with flat work
