Description:
Candidate will fill an electronics repair technician the primary responsibilities will be to troubleshoot, and repair customer induction welding tools. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics troubleshooting and repair, strong mechanical aptitude and the desire to learn on the job.
Job Duties:
- Repairing tool to fully functional unit including final test and validation
- Maintain incoming and outgoing tools practicing first in, first out.
- Assist with shipping and receiving of tools.
- Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory levels
- Contribute to our culture of Kaizen and continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Trade School certification, high school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years experience in electronics manufacturing or equivalent work experience
- Proficient in using hand tools
- Ability to use soldering iron and voltmeter
- Good soldering skills in both through hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT)
- Good written and verbal communication skills; strong customer service skills
- Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good close vision and depth perception skills
- Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
- Proficient with computers and MS Office applications
- Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
