Industrial Paint Apprentice
Description:
In this position, candidates will be working in a paint show to help with powder coating and sandblasting industrial steel. These products are primarily for agricultural equipment. Common job duties include:
- Working in a team of 3-4 in the building where all of the powder coating gets done
- There is 1 primary painter, but looking for someone to train into powder coating
- Rotate in prepping/hanging parts, cleaning off parts, actual painting, and unracking so 1 person isn't doing 1 job all day
- Need to be a team player and willing to help out in all aspects to get the job done

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- Prefer someone with powdercoating experience either as a painter or prep.
- Open to someone who comes from automotive, paint line, or commercial painting as long as they've used a spray gun.
- Would consider someone entry level to learn cleaning and material handling as long as they want to be in paint long term and have the right attitude and expectations of what the job is (physical and can be dirty, etc)
