What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Aerotek?
Description:
2 on first shift m-f 6:30-3p 1 on second shift m-th 2:30p-1a Maintaining high-speed production lines, including, but not limited to: rotating equipment; pumps, compressors, motors, drives and conveyors Experience with PLC’s ( Allen Bradley, Siemens, RS Logics, etc.), HMI’s and control networks (RS Logix, RS View) to go online for troubleshooting and editing • Experience working production line equipment (i.e. fillers, cappers, labelers, case packers, coders, palletizers) • Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance • Ability to read gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure proper machine operation • Excellent diagnostic, troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills • Working knowledge and understanding of, MSDS, lock-out/tag-out, and OSHA requirements

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must be able to support automated controls: photoeyes, limit, pressure, temperature, flow switches and solenoids • Calibrating Instrumentation such as LEL gas monitors • Program and test: High Level probes, VFD’s, Actuators, valves, etc • Facility maintenance, including, but not limited to: boilers, water systems, compressed air, lighting, and exhaust fans • Must be able to read and understand equipment manuals to install, set up, modify or troubleshoot equipment • Preparing processing equipment by making setup adjustments and assisting with changeovers
