What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanical Assembler position at Aerotek?
Job Description
The mechanical sub assembler will be assembling fabricated components for utility trains that repair and perform maintenance on railroad tracks and systems. Mechanical blueprint reading and automotive/diesel mechanic experience is preferred.
Daily responsibilities
- Candidates will be working in a production environment retrofitting diesel train components and engines.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical blueprints/schematics.
- 2 years of diesel or automotive mechanic experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of torque.
- Hydraulic lines.
- Ability to use hand tools.
