What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Mixer position at Aerotek?
Description:
Candidates will be working in the paint lab working on mixing paints and stains for production.
Some responsibilities include the following:
- Supervises procedures and techniques utilized by sprayers.
- Checks the quality of incoming finish materials.
- Prepares finish material and equipment for application.
- Monitors quality level of finished products leaving the Finish department.
- Monitors spray material inventories.
- Prepares and processes special colors
Candidates must be fine with working on the production floor for the first month or two to learn the processes of the floor. They may be helping with machine operation, assembly, paintline, etc.

Work Environment
- Working in a massive woodworking shop.
- Can get hot in the summer unless they are in the paint line department where it seems to be about 15-20 degrees cooler.
- There can be departments that are dusty but they have large vacuums by each station
