Aerotek his hiring for Pipe Welders to perform work on an industrial project in Midlothian, VA.
Job Duties:
- Candidates must have minimum of 5 years' experience, be familiar with industrial and process piping systems with specific attention to hospital, industrial and heavy institutional installations
- Mandatory minimum of 5 years' experience in pipe welding
- Experience in structural/plate and sheet metal welding will not be considered relevant experience
- Must be familiar w/industry standard & code compliant construction practices
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Need to walk the cup in 6G position
OSHA 10 in hand on first day
3-5 years' TIG, STICK pipe welding experience; three years pipe/metals with various techniques including electric, gas, arc, or other equipment
Must pass ASME pipe welding procedure
Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of mechanical systems
