Description:
Hiring for Production Associates in Sterling, VA Responsibilities will include placing food on the line, cutting, wrapping, pushing large containers of food, mixing, placing condiments on food, bagging the food, packing the food, and sanitation. They will be working in the Quality department, checking standards of food, entry level, looking for decent tenure. Recording findings, resolving minor issues with production line, or making technicians aware of issues requiring mechanical or electrical repair. Tasks are monotonous and physically straining. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for an 8 hour shift, and work in a refrigerated or cooler facility.
Candidates will be required to follow food safety procedure for the role to ensure safe and sanitary handling of a consumable product. use of PPE is required (hair nets, gloves, smock/ lab coat, shoe covers)
Shift:
6:00AM -2:30 PM M-F
Qualifications:
1. Ability to lift up 50 lbs. regularly throughout shift
2. Ability to stand for the duration of 8 hour shift
3. Ability to work in a refridgerated of cooler environment
4. Previous food safety or food preparation experience
