What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Helper position at Aerotek?
Description:
A leading supplier of surgical one-time-use items (scissors, tweezers, etc), instruments, and kits for hospitals and healthcare product manufacturers is seeking a General Production Worker.
- Inspect seals and labels as per directions found in the production work order and applicable work instructions.
- Performs on-line inspection of each device as it is produced and reports problems to the Production Supervisor for disposition.
- Prepares packaged work in progress for sterilization and complete necessary documentation.
- Understands and conforms to proper Clean Room environmental controls.
- Performs other duties as deemed necessary by the Production Supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- This candidate will work as a floater to move between production, assembly, and warehouse.
- Provide insightful and enthusiastic leadership creating a positive attitude and building company morale.
- Identify improvements and modifications to departmental procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Preferred 2 years experience in cleanroom, medical assembly, or warehouse
- Proven team leader capabilities.
- Ability to operate basic production equipment.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
