What are the responsibilities and job description for the Solar Installer position at Aerotek?
Description:
- Installing commercial solar panel systems
- Carrying material to the designated work area
- Assembling racking systems; attaching panels to the foundation piers using bolts tightened with wrenches/sockets to desired torque requirements.
- Layout, panel lays and performing wire management
Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of solar experience
- Ability to read blue prints and/or understand layout as instructed.
- Follow company safety policies, while working within OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to use power tools and basic hand tools.
- Knowledge of basic construction math and experience reading a measuring tape.
- Reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- Will be working outdoors on a commercial roof
