Description:
TIG welder will be responsible for sourcing the materials to be used in the project, reading and understanding blueprints prior to starting a project, measuring and cutting materials to specifications, welding materials using the correct materials to join the metals together, and checking finished work to make sure that it falls within the tolerances marked on the blueprints

Fit, align and weld manufactured or purchased parts, position parts according to the layout of unit being assembled or according to engineering drawings.
Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips or by other fasteners.
Drill and tap holes for fasteners.
Visually inspect parts and assemblies for fit and surface defects, and advise supervisor of discrepancies.
Remove small quantities of metal with hand files to produce close fit between parts.
Test components and unit for proper operation.
