What You’ll Do: 

As a Rental Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing project support for incoming and outgoing rental projects. Helps ensure shop cleanliness and organization. Provides evaluation, maintenance, and repair services for rental blower and compressor packages at the company rental depot in Atlanta.

Your Accountabilities in the Role:

• Pick, pack, and ship outgoing rental orders adhering to all applicable processes and safety considerations. Unload, organize, clean, and return items from incoming rental projects.
• Assemble blower and compressor packages per company defined procedures with accuracy, precision, and quality.
• Read, understand and use equipment diagrams, checklists, and other documentation to assemble blower packages per customer requirements. Uses General Arrangement (GA) drawings to assemble a blower package.
• Inspect, evaluate and repair equipment at the rental depot and at customer's location using best practices for root cause analysis and quality service provision; Provide diagnostic analysis and/or preventative maintenance of customer's products or installation at customers sites.
• Communicate with customers to discuss job requirements, provide recommendations and service options, listen to customer concerns, and provide status updates during service call and at completion.
• Provide High level of customer service; Deals tactfully with customers and co-workers and evaluates customer future needs and communicate information through appropriate channels.
• Inspect work to assure conformance to prescribed tolerances and standards, using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety and quality management procedures.
• Maintain proper inventory control and provide accurate inventory counts on a periodic basis.
• Maintain overall shop and outdoor storage yard organization.
• Compile technical manuals and project documentation using MS Office, Adobe Acrobat and Business Center.
• Participate in a rotation with other team members to provide 24 x 7 x 365 phone / shop support for customers.

Requirements

Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). 

Experience: 3 years of related experience. Experience must include a minimum of 3 years in a direct customer service role. 

Functional Skills: Must have electrical and/or electronic education or experience with wiring, electric motors, variable frequency drives, and/or control panels; troubleshooting;  customer service mindset; high attention to details and ability to evaluate root cause failure analysis and implement effective strategies to prevent reoccurrence.

Technology Aptitude/Skills: Basic MS Office is required. Experience with Business Center is preferred. 

Language Skills: Advanced verbal and written communication skills; able to present to groups and educate/train others.
