Apply here to start an extraordinary career today. Job Description As the Market Manager, you will be the leader and public face of Motor in Vermont. This role requires strong general management capabilities and the ability to toggle between stakeholder management, customer service, and operations. This includes working closely with businesses, end user customers, community leaders, car dealerships, and the local utility. You will be supported by a small but mighty team spread across Indianapolis, Dayton, and Virginia, and will manage a Vermont-based Fleet Operations Associate. Responsibilities Lead the Vermont location of Motor, including local growth initiatives, operations, customer service, and PR Build brand awareness for Motor through partnerships, events, and by working closely with the Motor’s marketing team to develop Vermont-specific marketing approaches Execute member retention strategies Manage the Fleet Operations Associate and operational relationships with contractors, vendors and partners. Roll up sleeves and execute on customer deliveries and vehicle operations as needed Become a personable resource for members and partners on electric vehicles and consumer charging technologies, including a strong grasp of market data and regular reporting to key stakeholders Qualifications A deep knowledge of, and passion for, the state of Vermont Demonstrated ability to thrive in a startup, or startup-like, environment Three years of management experience, including both people and strategic business relationships Three years relevant work experience with electric vehicles, automotive, shared mobility services, or related field strongly preferred Bachelor’s degree or higher Valid driver license and two years of driving experience with a clean driving record  Strong presence with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc.) Compensation Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package A startup atmosphere allowing for varied and rapid career development A fun and inclusive working environment A meaningful mission, and a team dedicated to pursuing it AES is an Equal Opportunity Employer who is committed to building strength and delivering long-term sustainability through diversity and inclusion.
