OVERVIEW

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA and Compliance Lead with strong competencies in process implementation, audit, and risk analysis. The QA and Compliance Lead will be responsible for ensuring that our company operates in full compliance with all relevant internal policies, processes and procedures. They will play a critical role in developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, identifying risks, and recommending measures to mitigate those risks. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of compliance management, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.


This hybrid role will sit in either Smyrna/Murfreesboro, TN or Florence, SC.


ROLES & RESPONSILBILITIES

  • Develop and implement compliance programs: Design, implement, and maintain effective compliance protocols to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures across all departments.
  • Conduct regular audits: Perform comprehensive compliance audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify potential compliance issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Perform risk analyses: Identify and evaluate potential compliance risks faced by the organization, assess their potential impact, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, standards, and industry best practices to ensure the company's ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with departments such as legal, finance, operations, and human resources to ensure the integration of compliance requirements into business processes and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training programs: Develop and conduct training sessions to educate employees on compliance policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Investigate compliance incidents: Lead investigations into compliance-related incidents, develop appropriate action plans, and implement measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain documentation: Document and maintain accurate records of compliance activities, including audits, risk assessments, incidents, and corrective actions.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, law, finance, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a QA and Compliance Lead or a similar role, with a focus on process implementation, audit, and risk analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and prioritize compliance risks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex compliance-related concepts to non-compliance professionals.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities, with the capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience in developing and implementing compliance programs within highly regulated industries is an added advantage.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment is primarily an automated manufacturing plant with a concrete floor and is characterized by some temperature extremes, moderate noise, and forklift traffic. The individual must be able to perform all essential functions as appropriate on the plant floor, in meetings, and with employees, management, customers and suppliers.
