We are looking for Financial Managers to support a program located at Hill Air Force Base outside of Ogden, Utah.
Background:
The mission of the ICBM Organization at Hill AFB is to deliver 400 combat capable nuclear missiles that are safe, secure, and effective. To this end, the ICBM Organization requires a broad range of professional program management, acquisition, engineering, scientific, research, financial, and administrative support to execute effective and responsive integrated life cycle acquisition and sustainment for both the MMIII and the next-generation GBSD ICBMs. The Integration Support Contract (ISC) will augment Government resources, enabling successful execution of the Government’s responsibility as ICBM Weapon System (WS) integrator.
Scope:
The main function of this program is to augment Government resources for ICBM WS Systems Engineering and Integration and to provide knowledge, experience, and resources across a broad range of diverse professional disciplines and functional capabilities. These disciplines and capabilities include areas such as acquisition, administration, business analysis, cybersecurity, engineering, Digital Engineering, finance, integration, mission effectiveness, Nuclear Surety, Program Management, research, risk management, science, strategy development, sustaining engineering, Systems Engineering, system safety and security and technical assessment.
Position Responsibilities:
- Manages and responsible for success of assigned programs.
- Appropriately monitors and reviews the performance of junior-level employees
- Demonstrates knowledge of the principles, methods and practices associated with the field.
- Assesses compliance of financial management systems.
- Assists programs with accountability for use of funds.
- Producing accurate financial status reports and analyzing/interpreting data within financial status reports
- Developing specialized spreadsheets and improving existing models to achieve greater accuracy and efficiency.
- Under general supervision, employee will be expected to exercise sound and independent judgment and consistently exercise discretion.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in related field and two year or more years of related experience or bachelor’s degree in a related field and four or more years of related experience
- Experience understanding, following, and managing the PPBE process
- Using Microsoft Office Suite and Government accounting functions and information systems to accomplish normal financial management functions within a SPO
- CFA, CPA, CFP, CGFM, CDFM certifications desirable
Certifications:
- Active Secret Clearance Required
