Atkore currently has an opening for an LTC Front Machine Operator at our 260 Duchaine Boulevard, New Bedford, MA facility. This opening is on the 3rd Shift (Midnight - 8 AM), Monday through Friday (occasional overtime may be required including weekends) however training may take place on 1st shift (8 AM – 4 PM) or 2nd shift (4 PM – Midnight) as assigned.

Job Duties:

• Efficiently and safely operate LTC machine with minimal supervision.
• Maintain accurate production records and fill out daily inspection sheets.
• Understand and meet the requirements and capabilities called out in the job specific procedures.
• Comprehend technical functions as related to equipment and job schedules.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent education and experience strongly preferred but not required.
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is strongly preferred.
• Ability to work in an environment with loud noises, smells and/or extreme temperatures at times.
• Basic Math skills required.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Must be able to push, pull, bend, sit and stand without assistance.
• Good attendance and strong work ethic required.
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to follow directions and complete work in a safe and efficient manner while producing a quality product.
