SUMMARY:
Supervises the Environment Services (EVS) activities such as cleaning and maintain cleanliness of the casino are, restaurant, employee dining room, restrooms, and smoke/break area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises the vacuuming and/or sweeping of casino floors to ensure timeliness and cleanliness.
- Picks up debris such as paper, and discarded items, from between and behind slot machines.
- Inspects ashtrays for cleanliness and presentable throughout shift.
- Inspects entranceways for cleanliness and presentable.
- Inspects restrooms for cleanliness, neatness, and stocked items.
- Supervises and responds to safety hazard calls such as wet floor, broken glass, etc. to ensure EVS Team members are in proper protection equipment.
- Cooperates and responds to the needs of other departments as needed or requested.
- Ensures all EVS Team Members are complying with company policies and procedures from dress code to proper cleaning procedures.
- Completes a work schedule for assigned shift and prepares administrative paperwork in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Performs duties EVS Team Members as needed.
- Carries out Supervisory responsibilities in a timely, fair, and objective manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct Supervises employees (EVS Team Members). Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include, making hiring recommendations and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; addressing complains and resolving problems.
