Our nationally respected youth development model has been replicated in cities across the country and earned us the City Livability Award from the U.S. Conference of Mayors.Programs take place at community locations throughout the city, including three ASM buildings: downtown at Gallery 37 Center for the Arts, the Michael and Karyn Lutz Center in Belmont Cragin, and the Pullman community at Gately Park.Currently, After School Matters’ annual operating budget is approximately $35M and employs approximately 500 staff across the organization.For more information, visit www.afterschoolmatters.org.Summary of Position:This role is responsible for maintaining After School Matters’ Gift Shop online retail website, as well as assisting with maintaining After School Matters’ main website. They will collaborate with members of After School Matters’ Marketing & Communications team to create content for both sites and will work with the Digital Marketing Manager to design and create content for social media posts to drive traffic to them. Additionally, this position will collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team on graphic design and merchandise needs.This is a full-time position.Major Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Senior Graphic Designer and the Digital Marketing Manager in creating content for both the Gift Shop and main After School Matters websites and social media posts to drive traffic to the sites. Curate, photograph and upload sales items onto the WordPress retail Gift Shop site. Run and analyze monthly sales reports. Assist the Retail Shop Assistant to ensure fulfillment of online orders and special in-person sales events are handled. Coordinate consignments with outside partners. Work with ASM Programs to curate teen-made items to sell on behalf of After School Matters Gift Shop. Collaborate with MarCom team on graphic design needs, merchandise design and ordering.
