This position works in an office environment some of the time and in a warehouse environment. May, on a continuous basis, sit at a desk for a long period of time; answer telephone calls and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75 lbs. Noise level in the warehouse environment is usually moderate to high, and the noise level in the office environment is usually low to moderate. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional local travel may be required. Basic Duties
- Primarily focus on Sprayers, Combines and Tractors
- Assist walk-in and phone customers with part orders.
- Take after hour parts calls.
- Process orders as they come in.
- Make hydraulic hoses for AG.
- Responsible for shipping/receiving freight using a forklift, inventory storage, and order picking activities.
- Look up part numbers in parts books or online
- Complete required paperwork and computer data entry.
- May perform other related duties as requested and/or assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience in parts, inventory, and farm equipment experience required.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of the core parts operations, and knowledge of Sprayers, Combines and Tractors required.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to operate a standard forklift and manual pallet jack in a safe but timely manner.
- Must be capable of lifting 75 lbs, climb ladders and stairs on a daily basis
- Computer skills are needed especially with programs such as UPS Worldship for shipping & receiving, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills are necessary with the ability to write professional business letters and email is required
- Must be detailed orientated and have previous industrial customer service experience.
- Must be capable of handling general math calculations when dealing with money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Able to be on a Saturday work rotation schedule and work extended evening hours during peak seasons.
- Must have a valid driver's license with clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate)
