Territory Manager Summary:
The Territory Manager is responsible for selling and marketing company products and services to new and existing accounts and promoting company products through personal visits, e-mail, telephone, and trade shows. This territory covers Mississippi and parts of Eastern Louisiana & Eastern Arkansas. Must live inside the territory or be willing to relocate to a centralized location inside the territory.
VEHICLE ALLOWANCE, CELL PHONE, LAPTOP, AND OTHER ESSENTIALS PROVIDED.
Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
You will be on the road most of the time in this position. This position would involve daily interaction via phone/email with the regional location manager.
Territory Manager Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and secure new customers
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, uses, and quotes.
- Recommend products to customers based on customers' needs and interests.
- Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
- Communicate quoted prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates.
- Consult with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time.
- Provide customers with product catalogs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Territory Manager Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
- Five years outside agriculture sales experience
- Background in Agriculture
