Job Summary
We're seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as an After-Hours Hospice RN. As a member of our team, you'll be a voice for your patients, advocating for their needs and ensuring they receive the quality care they deserve. You'll work closely with our 24/7 RN staffed Triage Department and local hospice team to provide exceptional care to our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients and their families in a clinical setting
- Advocate for patients' needs and ensure they receive quality care
- Collaborate with the hospice care team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices in hospice care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current state license as a registered nurse
- 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting (hospice experience preferred)
- Reliable transportation and ability to sit, stand, bend, move intermittently, and lift at least 25lbs
