About Agape:
We provide direct care support to residents with differing abilities. Our mission is to continually enrich the daily lives of our residents by assisting them with their day-to-day tasks. From caregiving assistance, shopping, cooking, and working on fun projects - we practice compassion, integrity, teamwork, and excellence in everything we do! We operate fifteen program locations in the Fox Valley area, two in the Fond du Lac area, and have approximately 170 employees.
As a Recruiter at Agape:
Your primary responsibility is to ensure quality caregiver candidates are hired within specified recruiting goals by partnering with managers and the leadership team to understand, develop, and implement specific recruiting strategies and processes. This includes sourcing, posting, screening, and qualifying candidates for employment with the Agency. Talent acquisition is extremely challenging right now and we are looking for a Recruiter with creativity and determination. Experience with social media marketing and PR is a plus!
Qualifications:
- Associate or BA/BS degree in Business Administration, 2 years of recruitment experience, or a combination of education and experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience as a healthcare recruiter is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail and oral and written communication skills.
- Moderately skilled in digital and social media including but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
- Must have ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
- Maintain confidentiality, remain open to others’ ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things
- Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills, and conducts meetings.
- Edits work for spelling and grammar, presents numerical data effectively and is able to read and interpret written information.
- Prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently and develop realistic action plans
- Adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events.
- Consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction, and solicits feedback to improve performance.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with managers and Leadership team to evaluate, develop, and implement effective recruitment strategies.
- Build and maintain a network with community resources that results in a quality, diverse candidate pool.
- Compose and place employment ads on all Agape avenues (Indeed, Job Center, etc.) according to the position openings available throughout the agency and social media.
- Build and maintain working relationships with recruiting partners at Indeed and other sources in order to further recruiting objectives.
- Develop and implement best practices for improving job posting visibility on Indeed. Monitor search results ranking of Agape's job postings and make changes to improve ranking when necessary.
- Manage day to day activities within Agape's applicant tracking system (JazzHR), including posting/refreshing jobs, dispositioning and communicating with applicants and printing new applications.
- Create, monitor, and respond to posts/messages on social media platforms in regard to employment ads.
- Help build and maintain Agape’s presence on social media.
- Take inquiries from prospective employees, giving overview of agency, job description, requirements, and work schedules.
- Schedule and be actively involved in off-site recruitment of staff; i.e., recruiting sessions on college/technical college campuses, job fairs, etc.
- Review employment applications and selectively schedule, interview, hire, and place applicants for direct care position openings. Develop rapport with candidates, maintaining contact with them throughout the recruiting process from application through hire date. Consult with leadership team relative to program needs to assist in determining appropriate placement of new hires.
Compensation: $21.00-$25.00/hour depending upon qualifications
