SUMMARY:
AGC Biologics is currently looking for a Supply Chain Senior Project Manager to join the North America Supply Chain team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the orderly progression of projects from the proposal stage through project completion by interacting with the client, technical teams, and business development team. This role provides program direction and manages timelines and project controls across internal functional and organizational lines as well as with external clients. The ideal candidate possesses strong and effective project management, problem solving, and interpersonal skills and has a proven track record working cross-functionally across a wide variety of technical, business and operational areas.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with business stakeholders, by partnering with the operations leads and strategic Subject Matter Experts (SME), to understand their strategic objectives, initiatives, pain points and needs for transforming their supply chain.
- Develop and maintain project plans and budgets, monitor project health, and hold partners accountable to ensure that initiatives are completed on-time, on budget, and in-service to the overall strategy.
- Lead the management of all project documentation and provide regular and accurate status updates or inputs to program management, with attention to details
- Develop, maintain and evolve a related Supply Chain roadmap that best suits business priorities while enabling the go forward architecture.
- Lead implementation programs, ensuring quality delivery and expected outcomes. This includes the gathering of business requirements, development of process flows, high level solution design, training and change management.
- Monitor programs and projects outcome and retrofit into road-mapping and stakeholders’ priorities.
- Development and implementation of roadmaps.
- Supports the technical team to investigate any project challenges with necessary risk assessment tools and techniques then implements corrective measures.
- Represents company in project meetings, prepares meeting agenda and minutes, and follows up on action items.
- Evaluates and assesses project results and provides recommendations for future improvement.
- Cultivate effective communication, cooperation and trust with client.
- Work closely with team members across all AGC Biologics related business units and with the management team to ensure coordination of all efforts and real-time communication with all stakeholders.
- Accountable for scope change management: responsible to orchestrate with the accountable leaders and team to be responsive to customers, project schedule, and deliverables.
- Evaluate and implement continuous improvement. May include authoring documents and standards.
- Travel between domestic sites and some global travel to other AGC sites. Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation skills)
- Proven experience in creating and carrying out successful plans and processes to solve complex problems
- Ability to lead by influence, taking multiple projects through a sophisticated development/execution program are required
- Experience training others
- Experience working in a start-up environment and/or helping to scale a new process
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- BS Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience in CMC process development and/or GMP manufacturing.
- Experience in a Contract Research Organization (CRO) or Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) is preferred, but not required.
- Prior experience in project management or managing external research collaborations.
COMPENSATION RANGE:
$129,500 - $155,400
