About the Role:
Precision Planting is seeking a software engineer to join our 20|20 Software Platform team. We have exciting plans to take our 20|20 platform to the next level of capability. In this role, you will be helping to grow our cloud capabilities to support our evolving suite of connected agriculture products. As an engineer you will own feature development for several customer-facing product features.
What would I be doing?
• Developing and supporting our cloud infrastructure
• Deploying code to our production cloud platform
• Helping define product features as part of our product teams
What must I have?
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience working in a cloud-based environment
• Experience creating serverless applications on Amazon Web Services using Lambda, API Gateway, Cognito, Fargate, and S3
• Experience with AWS SQS, SNS, Kinesis, and Step Function
• Experience with JavaScript, Node.js, Typescript
• Experience with NoSQL or SQL databases such as Postegres
• Proficiency using Git
What other specific skills & experiences would be good for me to have?
• GoLang
• Amazon CDK
• Experience integrating with third-party APIs
